Quantum™ System
Quantum System Architecture The Quantum System Architecture is comprised of the Quantum Transaction Engine with a Linux Red Hat Enterprise operating system. The architecture is structured in Triplex fault tolerance with Master/Slave/Clone configuration and dual networks. The Quantum System transaction processing environment is underpinned by BEA’s Tuxedo application framework – today’s de facto standard for mission critical banking and finance transaction processing – which provides software fault tolerance and scalability and is XA 2000 Transaction Compliant. Scalable, reliable and highly available databases are provided by Oracle, the world leader in enterprise databases. Quantum Capabilities The Quantum System Core Feature Set includes account wagering with both permanent and temporary accounts, cash wagering and voucher wagering. Integration and data services provide data at the point of sale and to the back end for wagering services and account management services and for the delivery of real time pool totals, odds and probables, events change information and results and prices.
