Support Services

Scientific Games Racing provides a complete range of installation, operations and support services necessary for implementation of any size or scope pari-mutuel wagering operation.

QDC Reception deskOur operations management structure is aimed at raising the level and range of services we provide to the industry.   High level management of both the QDC and the Field Service Organization is the responsibility of a Regional Director, for a strong link between the activities of the QDC and those of the on-site field service personnel.

Each QDC is staffed by teams of qualified professionals; some with expertise in pari-mutuel wagering systems and others with computing industry certifications for database, network and system administration.

Local, on-site support is managed by the Field Service Manager, who is responsible for overall management and coordination of all on-site managers, foremen, technicians and helpers.

Our Field Operations organization is supported by a large global organization that develops and supports our products and services including Research & Development, Terminal Engineering and Manufacturing, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Technical Documentation and Licensing and Compliance.

DecoderThe technology arm of Scientific Games Racing is comprised of teams of hardware, software and quality assurance engineers as well as manufacturing specialists. These engineering teams work together, incorporating advanced technology, to create the next generation of products.

The Scientific Games manufacturing group designs, assembles, tests and ships equipment for Scientific Games’ racing and lottery customers throughout the world.

After assembly, quality assurance specialists inspect and test all products for functionality. The repair depot is closely associated with Field Operations and Manufacturing and is responsible for intricate repairs and equipment upgrades in those rare cases when field work on the devices is inappropriate.
