Experience, Quality and Production Capacity
Having printed over 200 billion tickets since our inception in 1973, Scientific Games has the largest production capacity, the most diverse range of printing technologies and the most experienced manufacturing staff in the industry. Our six printing presses with three printing technologies offer the widest range of print options available in the industry. Yet another major step towards ensuring our customers receive the highest quality product in the industry today is the introduction of our newest and most advanced flexographic press, P-6, which started printing tickets in 2007.
The P-6 press is capable of producing up to 8 billion instant tickets per year and is believed to be the highest capacity lottery press in the world. The new press adds to the Georgia facility’s previous 23 billion ticket capacity by approximately one-third.
Every step within our manufacturing process is focused on providing high quality, secure tickets in a timely manner. Since 2001, the company has invested more than $36 million to upgrade our product quality and increase our output capacity.
Customized digital equipment and software are used by a production team of more than 500 highly skilled technicians to ensure that all is perfect – from color to text to artwork to process to print.
Complementing the North American printing operations is Scientific Games’ print facility in Leeds in the UK. The 150,000 square foot plant opened in 2000 and serves more than 20 lottery customers in Europe and Africa with a production capacity of 5 billion tickets a year.
